October 19, 1971 – January 27, 2026
It is with profound sadness that the family of Lisa Carline Crockett-Reid announces her passing on January 27, 2026, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was the daughter of Judy Stiver and the late Henry Crockett.
She is survived by her husband, Scott Reid; her mother, Judy Stiver; brothers, James Crockett (Treena), Michael Graham, Jon Graham, Chris Graham; nephew, Liam Crockett; mother-in-law, Pam Reid; as well as extended family and friends.
Lisa was born in Vancouver on October 19, 1971. She was raised in Saint John and graduated from Saint John High School. A dedicated swimmer, she competed with the Saint John Swim Club during her junior high years. From a young age, Lisa developed a passion for sailing and could often be seen sailing the Kennebecasis River on her laser with her best friend alongside. She enjoyed success in local laser competitions. She also cherished trips upriver with her father aboard Hot Chocolate. Lisa worked at Grannan’s for many years, where she formed lifelong friendships and met her husband, Scott, whom she married in 2008.
She had a kind, compassionate, and tenacious spirit, though she faced personal struggles for many years. Kidney disease was one battle she could not win.
Lisa touched the hearts of all who knew her and will be remembered with deep love and empathy. In her memory, please dedicate a day to perform random acts of kindness.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424). A Celebration of Lisa’s life will be held at Grannan’s Seafood on Saturday, January 31, 2026, from 2:00 – 5:00 PM. Donations in memory of Lisa may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
