It is with broken hearts that the family of Michael Glenn Morrison of Saint John, loving and devoted husband of Tammy Lacombe, announce his unexpected and untimely passing, which occurred on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on December 17, 1975 in Saint John, he was the son of the late Glenn (Mike’s best friend) and Sandra (Jones) Morrison.
Mike drove transport trucks for many years and prior to his illness, he was employed as a delivery driver with Jones Delivery. This was a job that he truly enjoyed and where many friendships were made along the way. He was passionate about cars…especially his 77 Ford Econoline. He loved spending time with his sons…from playing hockey video games when they were youngsters to teaching them everything he knew about fixing cars and really everything in between…Mike was all in. He was a wonderful father and mentor to his sons. Mike treasured the times with his grandson, Elias “Hey Buddy”. The camping adventures, bonfires and moments with Elias and his loved ones brought Mike much peace and joy. He was known for lending a helping hand, he was reliable, dependable, a true family man and friend. His Tammy, he simply adored. Together, the two shared 33 years of life as a loving and devoted couple. Mike was Tammy’s rock, her safe place and her soulmate. He will be remembered for his strength, hard work and his devotion to his beloved family and dear friends.
In addition to his wife, Tammy, Mike will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Vaughn, Kody and Nick (Courtney); precious grandson, who could always bring a sparkle to his eyes, Elias Glenn Morrison; sister, Karen (Gerry); friend from childhood, Roland Caissie; many special extended family members and his canine companions, Waylon and Lucky. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his grandmother, Vicki Morrison.
Mike’s family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the entire staff at the Saint John Regional Hospital. The compassion, guidance and exceptional care that Mike received during his stay will never be forgotten. Also, a special thank you to Mike’s social worker, Genn.
