May 26, 1941 ~ December 27, 2025 (age 84)
It is with sadness that the family of Norman “Clark” McIlveen announces his passing on December 27, 2025, at Rocmaura Nursing Home with his family by his side. Born in Saint John, NB on May 26, 1941, he was the son of the late Charles and Jean (nee. Anthony) McIlveen.
Clark is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Paulette Marie (nee. Hebert) McIlveen; son Christopher McIlveen; daughter Dawn (Mark) McDevitt; grandchildren: Gordon and Colin Wilson, and Carter and Cooper McDevitt; sisters Lynne Logan and Gail Gardner; close friends: Butch Perry, Keith Vienot, and Scott Sommerville; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents Clark is predeceased by his brother Bruce and his wife Gloria McIlveen, and brothers-in-law Sandy Logan and John Gardner.
Clark worked at the Irving Refinery for 32 years as a Lab Supervisor. He was a very active man enjoying skiing, golfing and gardening and meeting up with his friends to play a few rounds of pool. He also enjoyed travelling with Paulette with his favourite spot being Jamaica.
Clark’s family would like to thank his 3 friends Butch, Keith and Scott, for the friendship, loyalty, and time they spent with Clark. The time you all spent with him made his days brighter.

In respecting Clark’s wishes cremation has taken place with no visitation or service to follow. A Celebration of Clark’s life will take place in 2026; details will follow.
