Vanessa Lynn Nunn

July 7, 1971  –  December 2, 2025

It is with broken hearts that the family of Vanessa Nunn of Canal, loving wife of Richard Nunn, announce her untimely passing with occurred on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on July 7, 1971 in Moose Jaw, SK, she was a daughter of the late Elton and Bernice (Bizeau) Conde.

Vanessa always took great comfort in surrounding herself with nature’s beauty. She especially loved the ocean, had many fond memories of camping and enjoyed gardening. Vanessa was a skilled knitter and her knitted creations provided warmth to many. Most of all, she adored her family and treasured the times spent with those who were special to her. Her greatest joy came from her grandchildren, who could always bring a twinkle to her eyes. Vanessa was the glue that held her family together and she will be greatly missed.

In addition to her husband, Richard, Vanessa will be lovingly remembered by her children, Nick Conde (Krissy), Tiffany Harvey (Tom), Tammy Harvey and Whesley Harvey; step-son, Bowen Nunn (Skylar); siblings, Angie, Elton and Jeff (Jamielynn); precious grandchildren, Logan, Lily, Kassidy, Jeff, Paisley, Daniel, Ace, Charlee, Ben, Kingsley, Royce and Amiyah; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Vanessa’s family would like to express their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the doctors and nurses of 5AS. Your exceptional care and kindness will never be forgotten.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424) where visitation will take place on Friday, December 5, 2025 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. A Celebration of Vanessa’s Life will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 11:00 AM. For those unable to attend, the service will be livestreamed and can be viewed by visiting Vanessa’s obituary on the Brenan’s website. Interment will take place at a later date in Fernhill Cemetery.
