Wayne Douglas Gallant passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at the Church of St. John & St. Stephen Nursing Home.
Wayne was born in Saint John, New Brunswick on December on December 16, 1962. He was the son of the late Robert and Wanda (nee Astles) Gallant. He worked for 25 years in the security industry. He loved country music, NASCAR racing, reading books, Tim Hortons, and the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Wayne is survived by his wife of 34 years, Dorothy (nee Bacon) Gallant; his sons, Timothy and Donald; his daughter, Amanda Steeves (Brad); his one brother, Steve Gallant; 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; his brothers, Billy and Danny; his sister, Darlene.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424). At Wayne’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral. Interment will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, July 8, 2026.
