New Brunswick Public Health reported one new case of COVID-19 on Sunday in the Moncton health zone.
The case involves a person in their 30s, it is travel-related and the individual is self-isolating.
One person recovered since Saturday, the number of active cases is 49.
Two people are being hospitalized.

The province announced Sunday as part of the Return to School plan for high school students, vaccination clinics will be made more accessible for school staff.
From Monday to Friday, 4,500 staff from high schools around the province will get a COVID-19 vaccination at a clinic held at one of 16 different locations.
When clinics are held, the schools will be closed to students to allow for staff to be vaccinated and plan for the full return to school.
Vaccination clinics in Edmundston and Centreville will be available for staff from the following schools tomorrow:
• Saint Mary’s Academy in Edmundston
• John Caldwell School in Grand Falls
• Cité des Jeunes A.-M.-Sormany in Edmundston
• École Grande-Rivière in Saint-Léonard
• École Marie-Gaétane in Kedgwick
• Polyvalente A.-J.-Savoie in Saint-Quentin
• Polyvalente Thomas-Albert in Grand Falls
• Canterbury High School in Canterbury
• Carleton North High School in Florenceville-Bristol
• Hartland Community School in Hartland
• Southern Victoria High School in Perth-Andover
• Tobique Valley High School in Plaster Rock
• Woodstock High School in Woodstock
The province will release more information about the clinics and registration will be sent directly to the appropriate school staff.
Details will be announced on Monday about the additional clinics that will be held throughout the week.
A notification will go out to families in advance of when their child’s school will be impacted.
In the coming weeks, clinics will be held for staff in elementary and middle schools and for early childhood service providers and child care staff to be vaccinated.
