Disappointment.
That is the Provincial Energy Minister’s response to some Quebec mayors saying no to the Energy East pipeline project.
Donald Arsenault says the project benefits both provinces with 3000 jobs and the corporate offices of Energy East would be in Montreal.
He says there are two refineries in Montreal that signed deals with TransCanada which would employ more than a 1000 people in the area.
Arsenault says he is disappointed that the mayors don’t see the benefits to Quebec, New Brunswick and the country.
