Charlotte County will be getting lots of road work done thanks to the provincial government.
Transportation and Infrastructure Minister Bill Fraser in St. Stephen today, announcing $1.1 million dollars in road infrastructure for our area.
“These are significant investments in the Charlotte County region. Our Premier, Brian Gallant, made a commitment that we’re going to invest heavily in infrastructure, to help grow our economy and create jobs so that we can invest in healthcare and education.”
The projects include:
In St. George, installing a storm sewer on Route 172, from Caithness Road and Fundy Bay Drive to Salar Court.
In St. Stephen, installing a storm sewer and completing curb and gutter work on Milltown Blvd, from Hill Street to Church Street.
In Saint Andrews, widening and paving the shoulder and making drainage improvements on Route 127, from Bar Road to Crestwood Lane.
In McAdam, completing the 2015 contract on Route 4 from Rose Street to Quality Way.
