Overnight Parking Ban For Parts Of Saint John

Get ready to move your car if you live in the north, east or west areas of Saint John.

The city declared a temporary overnight parking ban Friday in what has become an almost weekly occurrence.

It comes as the latest winter storm brings a messy mix of snow and ice pellets to the city.

City officials say all vehicles must be moved off the streets between midnight Friday night and 7 a.m. Saturday.

If not, you could have end getting a ticket or having your vehicle towed — or both.

Residents are on their own to find an off-street parking spot.
