Saint John Police responded to multiple car accidents in a short amount of time yesterday due to the weather.
Officers responded to a total of 19 crashes between 5:30 and 7 p.m.: two on the west side, four in the north end, and 13 out east.
One involved a car rolling over into the ditch, several were multi-vehicle crashes, and some resulted in injuries.
Police are encouraging motorists to slow down in bad weather, and to stay off the roads if possible.
