Premier Brian Gallant Visits Shelters In Shippagan And Caraquet Following Ice Storm

Premier Brian Gallant has been offering updates on the restoration efforts after the storm this week.

He has been visiting areas affected by the storm, including shelters in Shippagan and Caraquet on Friday.

Three towns in northern New Brunswick, Tracadie, Shippagan and Lameque have all declared a state of emergency.

NB Power spokesperson Paul Doucet says the Acadian Peninsula was the worst hit area, and colder temperatures have been making it more difficult for crews.
