Premier Promising To Help Seasonal Workers

Premier David Alward has come up with a proposal to top up wages paid to seasonal workers in response to criticism about the changes made to Employment Insurance by the Harper Government.

Under Alward’s plan, wages paid to seasonal workers in the fishery, for instance, would be topped up by about 2 dollars an hour up to 14 weeks a year.
