Project Nice List Spreading Joy

An initiative in Greater Moncton is ongoing with the hopes of bringing smiles this holiday season.

Natalie Davison is a Co-Founder for Project Nice List.

It launched December 1st. Easy challenges are posted each day on social media, that can be completed by anyone.

They include things like handing out candy canes to friends or strangers, or delivering a note of gratitude, “We really are on a mission to just spread more joy and share that joy. We don’t want people to feel more pressure. We needed connection and community and to do silly things for no reason at all,” Davison says.

Davison launched Project Nice List with Jenna Morton. She says this year they have participants from around the world.

She says, “We need each other, and we need happy things to see and do. We’ve been through a lot the last two years and I think that people are just really appreciated the permission to be playful and have a good time.”

They put out a call for Ambassadors last month and were overwhelmed with the response.

Davison says, “The challenges, there’s no one checking. It’s not a to do list. You can do one, you can watch others. There’s no wrong way, as long as they put a smile on your face.”

You can also get involved, just visit their Facebook or Instagram page each day.
