Rain To End Early Tomorrow Morning

The latest rainfall warning from Environment Canada talks about a slow moving low pressure system remaining southwest of the province today.

Heavy rain is expected through tonight with over 100 millimetres expected by early tomorrow morning according to Environment Canada’s Claude Cote.

By noonhour, about 50 millimeters had fallen in Saint John since last night with 95 millimeters in Grand Manan.

Cote expects the rain to start easing off in the early morning hours overnight and then be over and done with by 6:30 to 8:00 tomorrow morning although there might be some lingering showers.
