A Bathurst man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant has been arrested in connection with a stabbing earlier this month.
RCMP say 36-year-old Zachariah Russell was apprehended Tuesday at a home in the Bathurst area.
Russell faces a number of charges including aggravated assault, two counts of uttering threats and mischief.
Police say a suspect fled on July 8th after reports of a man being stabbed several times outside a home in Gloucester Junction.
The victim was injured but later released from hospital.
Russell will appear in Bathurst court on Wednesday.
