A preparedness exercise involving Irving Oil and first responders will take place Thursday at Irving Canaport on Red Head Road in Saint John.
The exercise will take place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Most of the planned activities will take place on-site, meaning people living nearby may notice emergency vehicles travelling in the area.
Irving Oil considers planned exercises a part of their standard operating procedures across the company, adding the “safety of our people, our communities and the environment is a core value and top priority.”
