The town of Rothesay will be focusing on making the town an age friendly community in 2017.
Mayor Nancy Grant says that will involve looking at policies as well as structural issues.
Grant says the town will also be developing a five-year financial plan and principals of finance management that’s specific to Rothesay.
She says council will review the Municipal plan in 2017, as well as the recreational master plan.
A survey will be done by Dalhousie University students in the near future to help Rothesay become a more age friendly community.
