Safety Tips For Travelling During The Christmas Season

The roads will be travelled by thousands of New Brunswickers over the next week or so, by those who ar visiting friends and family. .Before you go, there are a few things you should think about first.

Check the weather forecast. Just because the weather looks sunny here, doesn’t mean it’ll be the same where you’re going.

Make sure you have a winter survival kit in your vehicle, including booster cables, first aid kit, and flashlight.

If you do get stuck in nasty weather, drive for the conditions, give yourself lots of extra time, and take your time.

And finally, if you are going to be enjoying a few spirits over the festive season, remember not to drink and drive.
