Saint John Architect Praised After His Sudden Death

Saint John architect Thomas Johnson suddenly passed away on December 30th at the age of 67 and the body of his work is being praised.

His projects include the restoration of CenterBeam Place on King Street which received recognition from Heritage Canada in 2010, the Marco Polo cruise ship terminal, Rothesay Town Hall, the Netherwood House student residences, the Irving gym at Rothesay-Netherwood and the Atlantic Salmon Federation headquarters in St. Andrews.

Johnson’s life and work will be celebrated this Saturday at Shadow Lawn in Rothesay from 2 to 4 in the afternoon.
