50 jobs will be lost with the closure of the Unilever call centre in Loch Lomand Mall on September 1st. The closure is part of a North American reorganization by Unilever.
The call centre opened in the Loch Lomand Mall in 2001 with then Premier Bernard Lord on hand.
The company says in a news release it will provide support to the employees and help them try to find new jobs.
