Saint John Lancaster MLA Taking Leave Of Absence To Battle Breast Cancer

Saint John Lancaster MLA Dorothy Shephard has taken a leave of absence to battle a diagnosis of breast cancer.

A release from the Official Opposition says that she is determined to beat this diagnosis and return as soon as possible to fight for her constituents and advance the issues she’s passionately advocated for.

Shephard was elected to the Legislature as the MLA for Saint John Lancaster in September of 2010. Her constituents are being encouraged to keep contacting her Saint John office while she’s fighting this illness.
