Saint John has tumbled to rock bottom when it comes to the rankings for the best and worst places in the country to find a job.
BMO’s Regional Labour Market Report Card has ranked Saint John 33rd in the city labour market performance ranking — dead last.
Meantime, it’s the opposite story in Moncton which has been ranked number one. Employment in that city has grown by nearly 10-percent.
Senior economist Robert Kavcic says though Moncton being at the top of the pack will probably raise some eyebrows, he says you should keep in mind that these smaller cities can move a lot.
