It’s official: we’re in for six more weeks of winter.
That’s according to Nova Scotia’s Shubenacadie Sam, who made his prediction Sunday morning on social media.
Sam’s typical live prediction was cancelled due to a forecasted storm in the province, but skies cleared this morning, creating a shadow.

Meanwhile, Punxsutawney Phil gave a conflicting prediction. He didn’t see his shadow, meaning early spring in Pennsylvania.
