Another victory for Nova Scotia’s Mattea Roach on Jeopardy!
She’s now earned over $368,000 US during her 16-game win streak on the American game show.
Roach buzzed in successfully 76 per cent of the time last night, and 89 per cent of her answers were right.
She had a big lead heading into Final Jeopardy! and missed the question about African surnames.
She lost $7,000 but still walked away with another $16,200.
Roach, who grew up in Halifax and has family living in Cape Breton, will be back to defend her title tonight.
