A sizeable drop is expected at the gas pumps in New Brunswick this week.
Senior petroleum analyst Dan McTeague with Gasbuddy.com says prices will fall by about 5 cents per litre when the provincial regulator resets prices at midnight.
“So you will see gas drop into the $1.04 or $1.05 range but you may see a few retailers offering at $1.03 or $1.02.”
Diesel prices are expected to drop by up to 3 cents per litre at midnight and McTeague expects continued decreases in September.
