Despite what’s been happening since the beginning of the year in stock markets around the world, Enterprise Saint John is optimistic we will see growth this year in the local economy.
Larry Hachey, who chairs the Enterprise Saint John Board, says there’s a fair bit of activity going on but he admits it can seem agonisingly slow.
Hachey cautions you’re not going to see the Saint John area economy growing by huge leaps and bounds but what he describes as organic growth which is better than moving backwards.
