NB Power’s Smart Habits rebate program has benefited tens of thousands of New Brunswickers.
Nearly 13, 000 programmable thermostats were purchased last fall, and in store rebates were offered on energy efficient products during the month of October.
NB Power also offered rebates on LED bulbs, and water efficient showerheads.
The utility says once installed, these products will lower customers electricity costs by over one million dollars each year.
