Snowfall Warning Issued For Greater Saint John Region

You might want to make sure that those winter boots of yours are waterproof – Environment Canada issuing a snowfall warning with up to 15 centimetres expected for the Greater Saint John and Charlotte County area however there is a possibility that snow could become mixed with rain tomorrow morning.

The snow is expected to start falling this evening and start to taper off tomorrow evening.

Meterologist Jeff Hilliard says winds won’t be as big of an issue as we’ve seen in recent storms like the one last Sunday.

The above zero temperatures in the forecast are a drastic change from what we’ve been seeing lately with windchill temperatures in the -30 range. Hilliard says most storm systems recently have been tracking south of Nova Scotia leaving us on the cooler side while this one is supposed to track over the Maritimes or even across New Brunswick which is why we’re expected to see those higher temperatures.
