STORM CENTRAL: Cancellations

Travel:

Saint John Transit has cancelled service for today due to the storm.

Today’s 9am sailing of the Princess of Acadia from Saint John to Digby has been cancelled due to the blizzard.

The Department of Transportation & Infrastructure says the Evandale Ferry is being taken off its run until further notice.

There are a number of flight interruptions at the Saint John Airport – the 9am flight arriving from Halifax, the 12pm flight from Toronto, the 2:30pm flight from Halifax, the 5:30pm flight from Montreal, and the 7:30pm flight from Toronto are all cancelled. The 9:30 flight leaving for Halifax, the 12:45pm flight leaving for Toronto, the 6pm flight leaving for Montreal, and the 8pm flight to Toronto are all cancelled as well. Businesses:

McAllister Place will not be opening today.

The Arby’s restaurant on Rothesay Avenue is closed today.

Poley Mountain is closed and will be reopening at 10am Monday.

All NB Liquor Stores are closed.

Church Services:

There’s no church service at Portland United Church today.

The St. Lukes Anglican Church 10am service on Gondola Point is cancelled today, as is the bible study at 7pm.

The Sussex Baptist Church Music Night has been postponed until February 22 at 7pm.

Recreation:

The Saint John YMCA is closed for the day.

The New Brunswick Museum is closed today.

The Rothesay Arena is closed today.

All City arenas are closed.

The Woodland Traditional Archers will not be meeting to shoot this evening at 7pm.
