STORM CENTRAL: Plows Taken Off The Roads

Saint John Police say they will only be responding to emergency calls until further notice due to the severity of the storm. They, along with police in the Kennebecasis Valley, asking everyone to stay off the roads and sidewalks if possible – as there are whiteout conditions all across the city.

The City has pulled plows off the road because of the blizzard – however plows will be available to help with emergencies.

We’ve been told that Highway 1 from St. Stephen all the way to Moncton is closed to all traffic, and the Trans-Canada Highway between Moncton and the Nova Scotia Border is also closed.
