The Producers of a popular TV show are coming to the Maritimes, in search of entrepreneurs.
Auditions for the Dragon’s Den will be held in March.
If you’re thinking of auditioning, you might be wondering what it’ll be like and how to prepare yourself.
Matthew White is the owner of Sussex Beard Oil Merchants. He made a pitch to the Dragon’s last April, and made it to the show. As we found out in October, he also made a deal.
He says, “You have to be excited about your product, know your numbers and be prepared. I had a friend who made me go over the pitch, over and over, He wouldn’t let me stop until I was dizzy with it, and I’m glad he made me do that.”
Producers from the Dragon’s Den will be in Moncton on March 3rd. On the 4th, they head to Charlottetown, and on the 5th, they are in Halifax.
White notes, “When you go to the audition, approach it as if you are going before the Dragons. Be prepared for that, have fun with it. Enjoy it, because it’s a great journey.”
