A teenager was sprayed in the eyes about 6:15 p.m. Thursday night on King Street in Saint John.
A patrol officer with the Saint John Police Force was waved down by a young man who asked for help.
Police were told the teen was sprayed in the eyes with an irritant.
He was treated by paramedics, but did not want to cooperate with a police investigation.
