Raphael Lavoie scored nearly two minutes into OT to give the Mooseheads a 5-4 victory over the Sea Dogs at Harbour Station.
Ostap Safin and Radim Salda each scored for Saint John as they rejoined the team after finishing fourth at the World Juniors with the Czech Republic.
In other Sea Dogs news, the team has named defenceman Bailey Webster as team captain for the remainder of the season. The 20-year-old hails from Kelvin Grove, PEI and is the 15th captain in franchise history.

Patrice Bergeron had 4 goals as the Bruins pummelled the Canes 7-1, the Leafs got by the Canucks 3-2 in a shootout, the Stars downed the Oilers 5-1, the Sens doubled the Lightning 6-3 and the Flyers beat the Blues 6-3, the Flames snuck by the Ducks 3-2, the Avalanche and the Rangers also picked up wins.
