The new ferry that will run from Saint John to Digby, Nova Scotia unveiled to the public today.
The Fundy Rose will replace the Princess of Acadia in the near future.
The new vessel will be better equipped to take on more crossings with a shorter travel time —shaving off up to 45 minutes.
Federal Transport Minister Lisa Raitt is happy to see the new ferry in place.
The new ferry will be wheelchair accessible and will include features such as elevators, ramps, multiple lounge areas and even a kennel for pets.
