Trevor Holder will remain the MLA representing the North end and in Millidgeville.
The longtime politician gained some new parts of the City as the new riding of Portland-Simonds now includes parts of East Saint John.
CHSJ News asked Holder how he was feeling soon after being declared the winner since we don’t know who will be premier yet.
He says he is really proud of the campaign that all of his fellow candidates ran across the province adding he thinks there is a clear message that economic development is a priority.
