Conservative Dorothy Shephard was re-elected in Saint John Lancaster.
She says this isn’t 2010 and it’s been a close race adding she was nervous earlier tonight adding Peter McGuire and Abel Leblanc put on a good campaign but she says her team was focused and they tried to keep their message tight.
Liberal Peter McGuire tells CHSJ News this will be the last time he runs for anything.
He says he’s very disappointed with the result but very proud of his team calling them tremendous people with a lot of character.
It appears Shephard may have benefited from McGuire and former Liberal Abel Leblanc, who ran for the NDP, splitting the anti-Conservative vote.
