Three active fires continue to burn within the Base Gagetown range and training area in the Hersey Impact area and the Argus Wood area.
Department of National Defence forestry staff are keeping an eye on them with procedures in place to contain them.
Some of the gear used to fight the fires includes two water bombers, two armoured dozers and more.
They do expect that the smoke will be visible for the next few days.
Two of the fires are about 500 hectares in size while the third is about 26 hectares.
Staff at the base and all foresty officials are in close contact with provincial officials so everyone is kept informed.
We are told there is currently minimal risk to nearby communities, Department of National Defence property and all other staff.
