A man and a woman from Saint John were arrested Monday night after a theft on Darling’s Island.
Hampton RCMP say they received a call around 8 PM last night of a home invasion.
Two men and a woman entered the home and stole an undisclosed amount of cash and lottery tickets.
The resident was assaulted and sustained minor injuries.
A 27-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man, both from Saint John, were arrested later that night with help from a canine unit.
They briefly appeared in court today facing charges of theft, but were remanded and will appear again at a later date.
Police are still searching for the third suspect, who fled the scene on foot.
