UPDATE: 22 Year Old Man Dies From Injuries In New Year’s Eve Stabbing

A 22 year old man has died in hospital from injuries following a stabbing on New Year’s Eve on the West side.

A 19 year old man is due in court today to face a charge of second degree murder.

City police responded to a Sherbrooke Street home around 840 Thursday night and inside they found a man with a serious stab wound to the upper body.

He was taken to the Regional Hospital where he had surgery and was listed in critical condition.

On New Year’s Day, a 19 year old man was arrested at a home on McLaren Boulevard after police received a call that he wanted to turn himself in.
