UPDATE: Convicted drug trafficker back in custody

A convicted drug trafficker wanted on a Canada-wide warrant has been arrested.

Brandon LeBlanc was accused of violating the conditions of statutory release.

The 29-year-old man had been residing at a community correctional in Saint John.

LeBlanc is serving a three-year sentence on a number of offences, including:

  • possession of a substance for the purpose of trafficking
  • offence under the New Brunswick Motor Vehicle Act
  • failure or refusal to comply with demand
  • obstructing a public/peace officer
  • escaping or being at large without excuse
