Investigations by outside police agencies leading to charges for two Fredericton police officers.
Sgt. Tim Sowers was charged by the K.V. Regional Police with assault and uttering threats.
It relates to an incident last year and Sowers remains on active administrative desk duty.
Corporal Lou Lafleur was charged by the Miramichi Police Force in relation to an impaired driving incident from last year.
He also remains on active administrative desk duty.
A Police Act investigation in both cases will start once the current court matters are concluded.
