UPDATE: NB Power letting us know that power is fully restored in downtown Fredericton.
NB Power customers dealing with two different outages in Fredericton this morning.
Around 8am, 130 folks including some government building were impacted.
We are told the reason for this outage was a pole fire at the corner of St. John and Brunswick.
Power should be restored by 2pm.
Another outage this morning in Dunn’s Crossing impacted 500 people.
The cause in this case was a squirrel that got into the infrastructure.
Power was restored quickly in that case.
