The Barbour’s General Store having it’s grand re-opening today.
Owner Gilliane Nadeau says there are a variety of treats to try when you visit including Cape Breton Oatcakes, Barbour’s Tea, Ganong chocolate and Covered Bridge Chips.
Nadeau says they have a lot of events happening today including harbour cruises, a kayaking excursion and a wine and beer uptown walking tour.
Nadeau says it’s just like an old fashioned general store, if you want to know what’s going on you have to visit the store to find out.
