Another Dragon Boat Festival is in the books and everyone is still smiling.
The event bringing in more $215,000 for the purchase of equipment at St. Joe’s.
Perfect weather and some helpful changes made the 11th year for the event busy and fun for the teams, volunteers, organizers and those who just came to hang out.
A change in the race format meant every team was able to race three times.
Organizers are already accepting applications for next year’s event on August 27th 2016.
