Warning About High Water Levels

A special weather statement from Environment Canada is warning western areas of New Brunswick will get from 20 to 40 millimeters of rain beginning this morning through tomorrow. That means water levels along the St. John River will remain high.

There were a few road closures over the weekend because of high water levels along the St. John River.

The Emergency Measures Organisation was reporting Route 690 in Lakeville Corner and Ferry Road in Jemseg were closed. Highway 105 between Maugerville and Jemseg was partially covered by water at several locations. Route 105 at Medford, between the Tobique First Nation and Drummond, was closed to traffic.
