A Saint John man has taken to Facebook to warn about drinking and driving.
In his posting, realtor Rob Dipiero says while driving under the influence, a man drifted over the line along Sandy Point Road before Christmas and struck an oncoming car with his 7 year old daughter Brielle, her mom and her stepdad in it.
The car, which is totalled, was hit with enough force to send it spinning and on to the sidewalk.
Brielle suffered just minor cuts and bruising but instead of stopping to find out if everyone was alright, the driver fled the scene.
