Saint John Police are investigating an incident on the west side Sunday.
Staff Sgt. Shawna Fowler told Acadia Broadcasting an incident occurred in the area of Market Place and King Street West.
One person was taken to hospital, treated for minor injuries and released.
Police believe the victim and suspect are known to each other and the incident was targeted.
The investigation is continuing.
