What’s Open And Closed On N.B. Day

New Brunswick Day is a statutory holiday, which means many places will be closed.

Grocery stores like Sobeys and Atlantic Superstore are closed, along with the Saint John City Market.

If you need a prescription or sunscreen, some drug stores will be open on reduced hours.

NB Liquor stores are also closed Monday but agency outlets will be open.

Banks, post offices and all government offices are also not open Monday.

Saint John Transit will follow a Sunday schedule, which means there is no Comex service.

Garbage and compost collection will also follow its regular schedule.

The province’s official New Brunswick Day celebration is being held in the community of Pokemouche.
