City Police launching an investigation after a woman reported being assaulted on the west side.
The 19 year old woman told police she was standing in her driveway when someone she doesn’t know grabbed her by the throat. Police were told she managed to get away and the aggressor, described as being in his teens, wearing camoflage clothing and a red ball cap, ran off
Police alsoreport a large quantity of cash, jewellry and electronic equipment were stolen from a home along Loch Lomand Road. Major Crime is investigating.
