Boucher says the increase will allow the YMCA to help more kids.
She says the YMCA wants to ensure it does not have to turn anybody away.
Boucher calls the fundraising increase a challenge that the YMCA is ready to take on.
Irving Oil was at the announcement as well and have committed to sponsoring 100 students this summer by covering the costs for them to go to Camp Glenburn.
